Earls Gate Energy Centre, Grangemouth
The Earls Gate Energy Centre is a new, £200 million, energy recovery facility, currently under development at Earls Gate Park in Grangemouth, Scotland. The new plant will replace an existing gas-fired facility and will provide heat and power for local chemical company, CalaChem, and adjacent industrial plants. It will also export surplus electricity to the National Grid.
Good working relationships with trade associations and suppliers, trade unions and the local community are crucial to successful project delivery. Coast has been responsible for the community engagement aspect, building relationships with local councillors and groups. We are working alongside Cobalt Energy, to provide specialised communications consultancy on industrial relations.
Our Local Liaison Committee has established a direct link between the local community and the project team to help facilitate the smooth running of the project.
