Brook Cottage Development
Brook Cottage is a proposed high-quality rural housing development for the village of Capel in the Mole Valley District, Surrey. The development site was listed as an intended location for housing on the Mole Valley District Council Local Plan, which was out for consultation in March 2020.
Coast devised a small, month-long community engagement campaign, focused on developing a call to action for residents interested in supporting the project. We created a website and point of contact to provide a central information hub for the proposals. Frequently asked questions and a leaflet drop to residents drove campaign momentum by providing key information and outlining the call to action.
Coast has built a strong foundation for relations with the local community as the project progresses.
